Please consider presenting a country as a troop which will not only provide a terrific learning experience for the younger girls, but also inspire them to see what they can do as GS as they get older. Your participation also lends great support to our troop and the other presenting troops for all their hard work. A few more details for hosting troops:

1. We are planning on approx 150 visitors based on membership at the Daisy & Brownie troop level and also on last year’s attendance. There will be NO presentations (and by this we mean a song/dance that is done for the entire audience).


2. Each country station should include some colorful tri-folds or other methods of presenting info about each country that covers the following attributes of the country:
• Tourism/Art & Culture
• Geographic Features
• Demographics (types of people, religion, language, family size, population, etc)
• Traditions/Food
• Famous People/Plants & Animals
3. We also encourage the girls to wear typical or historical dress from that country and to offer a small taste of a typical food from their country - plan to have enough for all the girls that will pass through (max 200) – and AVOID nuts please!
4. Each hosting troop will also be responsible for providing a stamp or sticker representing that country to put in each visiting girl’s passport.
5. Hosting troops will need to arrive at approx. 5pm to set-up their booth, get dressed, etc. and plan to stay after 8 to clean up their station.
