Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts determine the areas they will explore, how they will explore them, and in what manner their group, troop or session will be run. They can work on their council's annual cookie sale, interest projects, service projects, Silver Award (Cadettes) and Gold Award (Seniors) projects, and participate in both national and international events and workshops. The Cadette Girl Scout Handbook, Interest Projects for Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts, A Resource Book for Senior Girl Scouts and The Guide for Cadette and Senior Girl Scout Leaders are the basic books recommended by the GSUSA. These books can be obtained through the GSWRC Store located at the Council Service Center, 201 E. Grove Street., Westfield, NJ.
Cadette-Senior Planning Committee is a group of teen Girls Scouts who come together and provide feedback to the GSWRC from a "girl's" point of view. This is a leadership opportunity representing Girl Scouts in your community and council.
