GSHNJ Senior Troop #40182 hosted the “2009 World Thinking Day Goes Green”. More than 170 girls from 17 troops participated in this event that highlighted the 4 R’s of Going Green –
Reduce, Reuse, Recover and Recycle. During this event, Daisies and Brownies were brought on a “world tour” of six countries. During their tour, each girl learned interesting facts, customs, native words, dances, etc. about each country. Troops that brought wonderful presentations to the event were: Japan troop #40242, Madagascar troop #40919, Costa Rica troop #40224, Israel troop #40748, Spain troop #40315 and Holland troop #40182. It was a great day for all! |
