Sports Equipment Swap to benefit GFG
S. Dougherty
We will try this event again this year. Basically, we will ask the girl scouts, and the community, to donate their gently used sports equipment (cleats, pads, bats, hockey sticks, gloves, bikes, roller skates, etc.). Girl Scout troop volunteers will sort and price items and then we will have a garage sale-style event where items are sold to the community. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to Girl Scouts of Washington Rock Gifts for Girls campaign. Sharon is working out the details, and more information will follow.
